Social care workshops

A range of in house workshops are available that are designed to promote good practice in staff teams providing any social care service working within elderly care, children’s care services and with vulnerable adults and families.  All workshops are written bespoke for each individual organisation and will increase knowledge and skills relevant to the service area and will motivate staff to achieve excellence for service users.  Internal policies and procedures relevant to the subject matter will be highlighted during the workshop and practical activities will support staff to understand the legislative requirements relating to their role.

All workshops are highly interactive. Following presentations by the trainer, delegates will participate in group exercises to develop a more in depth and practical understanding of the subject matter. Each delegate will receive electronic versions of relevant good practice guidance documents and useful resources used throughout the workshop, to enable delegates to implement good practice within their daily routines. A summary of the feedback will be provided using workshop evaluations.
