Housing workshops

A range of in house workshops are available that are designed to promote good practice in staff teams working with general needs and supported living tenants.  Workshops have been written to increase knowledge and skills of housing associations who proactively seek to support tenants who may be vulnerable or present difficulties in maintaining their tenancy agreements.

All workshops are highly interactive. Following presentations by the trainer, delegates will participate in group exercises to develop a more in depth and practical understanding of the subject matter.  The Housing Act 1996, The Care Act 2014 and The homeless reduction Act 2017  are at the heart of all workshops with other relevant legislation referred to throughout the session, ensuring that staff are fully informed about the legal requirements of their role.  Each delegate will receive a delegate handbook and electronic versions of templates used during the session will be provided to enable staff to implement good practice within their daily routines. A summary of the feedback will be provided using workshop evaluations.
