Workshops

DMS Consulting values the diversity of our work across a wide range of voluntary, public and private organisations and our training and consultancy can be accessed for staff at all levels – we aim to support staff who provide services and enhance the outcomes for children, young people and vulnerable adults.  We have a long history of delivering training to senior managers, operational managers, practitioners and volunteers across the social care, early years and housing sectors.

Interactive training

We aim for our training to be active and engaging, it is full of activities, problem solving and professional discussions. Training is up-to-date and outcomes focused, tailored to the needs of the learning group and the client service area. We provide clear lesson plans, and all our delegate handbooks are well presented with key information and spaces to capture ideas throughout the workshop.  A PowerPoint presentation will guide the structure of the workshop but slides are kept to a minimum to allow the trainer to interact with the learners, share their knowledge and experience, and hear from learners experiences too. Training is usually delivered over a six hour day, or three hour session and can be provided on Saturday or twilight sessions to facilitate whole team events.  Shorter briefing sessions or bite sized sessions are available on request.

Feedback and responses to our training is consistently excellent, demonstrating the effectiveness of our unique approach to sharing key information in a fun and thought provoking way.  To discover more about what’s available and how we can work with you to achieve high quality for your service, click on your sector workshops.
